Privacy Notice
Last updated 30 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data Cairnmark Labs handles when you visit this website or contact us, and what rights you have.
Who Is Responsible
The controller is Athanasios Christopoulos, trading as Cairnmark Labs, a sole proprietorship registered in Greece. Contact us at info@cairnmarklabs.com. Full business details are in the Legal Notice.
What We Collect & Why
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organisation (if you give it) and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in replying to messages (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Spam protection. The form contains hidden checks that filter automated submissions. They do not use cookies or third-party services.
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This site sets no cookies for advertising or analytics, so there is no cookie banner.
Who Processes Your Data
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery, form delivery, email forwarding and statistics).
- Google LLC (our email inbox, where enquiries are delivered).
Both companies may process data in the United States. They take part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and their data processing terms include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a contract. Contract and invoicing records are kept for as long as Greek tax law requires.
Your Rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@cairnmarklabs.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or the authority where you live.
Changes to This Notice
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
